The Pearl Inside of You

A pearl is the only naturally formed gem that requires no polishing, it comes out of the oyster flawless. A foreign object enters the oysters shell and the oyster tries to expell it because it is uncomfortable. If the oyster is unable to get rid of the substance it will remain and eventually be formed into a flawless pearl. The pearl must endure discomfort in order to contain a gem.

Similarly when the substance of God first enters the humans spirit, its uncomfortable. Often people battle within themselves to expell it. If the substance remains it changes them and will eventually create inside them a priceless gem. If your new in your walk or a seasoned follower, you will go through discomfort because the devil wants you to expell the substance you contain to prevent your gem from forming. The devil knows how priceless the gem you contain is. Endure the pain...it means your gem is growing!
